Model of the Day: CM Models Ferrari F12 Berlinetta (Ferrari Owner's Club Special Edition)...

We wanted to get this one on the blog today for two reasons:

1. It is a fantastic model, done beautifully in satin red for the Ferrari Owner's Club by CM Models.
2. It is one of the models we can showcase that is still available at Daboxtoys.

And that is cool.  Many times we get a package full of goodies from Daboxtoys that we are eager to show off, but hesitant to do so because there is no way for collectors to buy a sold out model.  But this one, at least at the time of the post going up, is still available.

CM Models has been doing superb 1:64 models for awhile now, and the F12 is no exception.  The lines are perfectly proportioned, and the color stands out.

But you don't have to take our word for it.

Lamley News: Just-announced Ferrari set from Kyosho, new Gift Pack from Matchbox...

A couple of tidbits from the diecast world tonight...

First off, anytime Kyosho announces a new set, it is a big deal.  But an even bigger deal is when Kyosho announces a Ferrari set.  Kyosho knows Ferrari, and has put out some fantastic sets in the past. It looks like this next set will be no exception:

It is great to see the F12 and FF in the set, but the signature model is surely the LaFerrari, the supercar successor of the Enzo.  As far as we know this is the first 1:64 version of the La Ferrari, and we cannot wait to see it.  Be sure to follow Daboxtoys on Facebook to know when this set is available...

That isn't all the Ferrari news at Daboxtoys.  The special edition Ferrari F12 models from CM Models is due at the Daboxtoys store very soon.  These models are limited so be sure to check in frequently to see when they will be available:

Just Unveiled: CM Models' Ferrari F12 Berlinetta...

Great news coming from our friends at Daboxtoys.  CM Models, who we used to lovingly call the OEM Factory, is about to release its first set under its new name.

And for a name debut, you can't pick any model.  So they went ahead with a fantastic Ferrari.  Realism is the name of the game with CM, and that is evident here.  They have released photos of the Ferrari preproduction models, and they look great.

Even better, there will be a special model, a secret car in white with colors of the Italian flag.  Only a few lucky collectors will get their hands on that one.

CM Model has released the pre-production photos of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. There will now be 6 main-line colors (yellow is missing in this photo) plus we have already seen the secret model with the white body and Italian racing stripe. These are in production now so should be ready soon.

I would pay close attention to Daboxtoys at their store and on their Facebook page to know when these will be available, because they will go quickly.  Based on the rapid sellout of the China Owner's Club exclusive (in satin red below) a couple of weeks ago, these will be very popular.
