Correction. Fantasy models aren't really our thing. Models shaped like a dragon won't get a lot of attention here. Non-licensed models, if they resemble something interesting can get a lot of attention here at Lamley. Just look at the Mad Manga.
Like the Mad Manga and its tribute to bosozoku, we think we The Vanster is also giving a nod to a Japanese staple, the Toyota Hiace Van:
Japan loves a good van. No, Japan loves customizing a good van, and the Hiace is one of their faves. As you look at that pic, and then look at the Vanster, you get a good idea what inspired the design.
It makes for a pretty cool model. We don't know who designed it, but we will try to find out. In the meantime, it is nice to see what appears to be another JDM model in the lineup...
