I haven't been one to buy models from the HW Nostalgic Series, as I prefer the stuff I have without unrealistic graphics. But there is no denying that the Nostalgic models are very nice, with real riders and metal bases. It may not be realistic to put a Norman Rockwell painting on the roof of a car, but other than that the color and wheel choice is fantastic. There is clearly a lot of thought that goes into these, and I can appreciate that.
Plus, the casting is fantastic.
