The Lamley Group Model of the Day: 2011 HW Decades McLaren F1...

Ah, the supercars.  A HW specialty, and this one was a long time coming.  Maybe the HW version of the McLaren F1 arrived a few years late, but for supercar fans it will always be a classic, so anytime is a good time.

The model debuted in the (sadly) now-defunct Speed Machines line, and HW treated us to four versions, the most of any model in the set.  Then on top of that threw a great version of the casting into the Decades range.  One year - 5 versions.  A great ratio.

I am sure it is only a matter of time before we see the model in the basic range, and I would not be surprised to see it as a Treasure Hunt sometime in the future.  Let's just hope we keep seeing it...
