Here we have the HW 77 Firebird, not to be confused with the Hot Bird. The '77 casting is definitely more sporty than the Hot Bird, and I don't think it gets any better than straight black with gold trim, a la Smokey and the Bandit.
This model debuted a couple of years ago in the Modern Classics line, and has not been seen again until now. Really too bad, as I think it is the best Firebird casting they have done. (Although maybe you argue that this version is so good that we don't need another one.)
