As we at Lamley celebrate the Japanese Classic Car Show at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California today, we thought we would focus on the most un-JCCS quality of the brand new Hot Wheels Datsun 620.
The excitement among JDM'ers about the Hot Wheels 620 is well-documented, especially here on the blog. And we share that. I mean, how tasty are these pics?
But there is something decidedly American about the 620 as well. It is a pickup. And a damn iconic one at that, Japanese or not. So we decided to grab a handful of our favorite Matchbox and Hot Wheels classic pickups and throw them next to the 620. It is a simple, but it was fun.
